Bonding companies repeatedly turn to Mr. Weiss for guidance and advice, particularly on surety claims and litigation. He is known for seeking cost-effective solutions to complex issues especially on construction related projects. Whether through litigation, mediation or negotiation, the bonding companies have come to know that Mr. Weiss will work to determine the company's exposure, to cap that exposure and to minimize the ultimate loss to the company.

Mr. Weiss handles and supervises claim, coverage and defense matters and litigation in areas including surety, property, casualty, professional liability, and complex personal injury. Mr. Weiss is a member of the Construction Law Committee of the New York County Lawyers Association, as well as the Forum on the Construction Industry.

Mr. Weiss obtained his law degree in 1972 from St John's University Law School, after obtaining his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. He is admitted to practice in the bars of the States of New York, New Jersey and Florida, as well as the Supreme Court and the federal bars of New York and New Jersey.
