Diane Duszak has substantial experience in managing complex fidelity claims, from initial claim analysis through discovery, motion practice and trial. These claims have involved multinational corporations and a variety of legal and procedural issues relating to coverage, jurisdiction, the precedential value of foreign judgments, coordination of international discovery, and the retention of expert witnesses and local counsel. She frequently handles claims for FRIP Coverage in ERISA as well. Ms. Duszak has also represented sureties, successfully enforcing the terms of indemnity agreements and upholding the reasonableness of payments made under surety bonds against claims by indemnitors and obligees. She was admitted to the bar in 1991, Connecticut; 1992, New York, New Jersey, and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, 1997. She obtained her education at Bryn Mawr College (A.B. cum laude 1972); Princeton University (M.A. 1975); and Fordham University (J.D. 1991); Fordham Law Review, 1989-91. Ms. Duszak is a member of the American Bar Association, New York County Lawyers Association, and author of the Post-McNally Review of Invalid Convictions through the Writ of Coram Nobis, 58 Fordham Law Review 979 (1990).
