Christie Bird handles fidelity matters, including commercial crime and financial institution bond claims and litigation, along with cases involving directors and officers liability, surety and FRIP coverage issues. Ms. Bird brings to the Firm experience in the taxation of executive compensation and ERISA plans and corporate taxation and restructuring. This involves, among other things, advising national and multi-national clients on the tax consequences of their employee stock and stock option plans, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, and employment agreements. She was admitted to the bar, 2001, Oregon; 2002, New York; U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, 2004. Ms. Bird received her education at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington (B.A. honors, 1997); and Temple University School of Law (J.D. 2000). She was a member of the Temple Law Review, from 1998-1999.
